Golf Update

Recently we fertilized all 27 holes, and the turf has really started to "pop" with consistently sunny days and moderate temperatures.

On Monday, we will be topdressing the fairways on the 6th and 7th holes of the North Course. These areas were recently aerified as there is greater soil compaction than the rest of the golf course.

Golf Update

We currently have several projects going, some of which have been completed at this point.

A new pump/motor assembly was recently installed on the South Course to replace a faulty unit that could not be repaired.

Aerification of the fairways on holes #6 and #7 was also done this week. These two areas have more compacted soils that the rest of the golf course and need to be addressed more frequently. Mulch was also added on hole #7 in some spots to provide a cleaner look and better playability.

Tree work continues as we trim back some overgrowth and remove some dead material. We are also adding flowers in areas on the course and around the clubhouse to provide more color.

Golf Update

The warming trend has continued, resulting in some additional stress being placed on the fairways and greens surrounds of the East nine, which are overseeded ryegrass. North and South nines, consisting of paspalum turf, have held up well and are generally very healthy. Watering cycles will be increased as needed due to the below average March rainfall totals for the region.

The new water stations have been installed on course, replacing the older fountains with a more modern, full service dispenser unit. We are also painting the buildings and refreshing the interiors in an effort to improve the overall appearance.
