Golf Update

Last weekend we recieved an 1" of rain from late Thursday night into Saturday. The course drained well enough for us to complete our Men's Member-Guest (The Tradition) without interruption. Five nine hole matches we played over two days with a horse race after Saturday's final round to determine the overall winner.

On another note, a recent Golf Committee meeting led to a couple of determinations regarding course etiquette. In an effort to create consistency we will make a more concerted effort to communicate the desire of the Club to keep rakes inside of the bunkers. Also, the committee has asked the staff to work more diligently on enforcing the "two carts per foursome" rule as well as cart access in proximity to putting surfaces.


Overall the committee meeting have been productive and all action items are being addressed in a timely manner.
